What can I put in the skip?

No asbestos, no fridges/ freezers, no tyres, no gas bottles, oils or other hazardous waste

How long can I keep the skip?

Prices are for seven days if you would like longer than seven days, we can arrange this for a small extra charge

Where can the skip be placed?

The skip can be placed anywhere on your property such as a driveway. Please note if you require boards to protect your driveway/ lawn you must request these. If the skip cannot be placed on your property, we would have to request a road permit to place the skip on a public road/highway this is an extra £25 cost.

What does the cost of my skip include?

The cost of the skip includes delivery, disposal of material in it and collection. If required, we will also arrange a permit from the relevant Local Authority.

Do I need a Permit?

If the skip cannot be placed on your property and needs to be placed on a public road/ highway, then yes. We would have to arrange for the permit from the relevant local authority at an additional cost of £25, which takes one working day to request. If a permit cannot be obtained, and no private land is available, then we do offer a wait and load facility.

Is the skip safe on my property?

Liability for the skip is with the customer that hired the skip during the duration of the hire. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure no damage is caused to the skip i.e. fires. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused to driveways/ Walls if the customers have requested the skip to be placed on their property.

How full can the skip be?

By law you MUST NOT over-fill your skip. To ensure the skip is safe to transport, you must ensure that it is not filled past the top of the sides. Over-filled skips will not be taken under any circumstances.
